Subject: Important Notice Regarding Your Pet’s Microchip
This announcement is regarding the microchip your pet may have received at our office.
It has recently come to our attention that the company Save This Life has unexpectedly closed.
This abrupt shutdown has left many veterinary practices and pet owners in a difficult situation, as their microchip registry is no longer accessible.
What this means for you: If your pet was microchipped through Save This Life, their microchip
number may no longer be linked to your contact information. In the event your pet is lost and
found, a microchip scan may not lead to a way to contact you, putting pet recovery at risk.
Fortunately, there is a solution. After further research, we’ve found that BuddyID.com is
currently offering free registration for pets affected by the closure of Save This Life.
If you know your pet received a Save This Life microchip, we strongly encourage you to visit
BuddyID.com as soon as possible to re-register your pet’s microchip and ensure your contact
information is properly connected.
If you’re unsure whether your pet is affected or need assistance with this process, please don’t
hesitate to contact our office. We’re here to help.
Warm regards,

If our office has any information that our clients should know this is the page you will find it on! We recommend checking in often to find any important updates!
Due to the increased demand for animal medical care our office has experienced a huge incline in phone calls and appointments. We would appreciate your understanding when it comes to scheduling non-urgent appointments like vaccines and nail clippings and the wait time you will encounter. To avoid this please call and schedule at least four months prior to your pets vaccine(s) due dates.
Our office has always been understanding of clients being late or missing appointments.
We are now going to have to discourage this and will start charging a $45 fee if not informed of rescheduling or cancelling 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
We do not allow walk-in appointments, as it interferes with our ability to provide safe medical care to our already scheduled patients. Our patients deserve our undivided attention during their appointment time. We provide our schedule with same day sick appointments for our clients but they do fill quickly. Thank you for your understanding!
We understand that emergencies are stressful and exhausting with your pet(s). We ask that if an emergency occurs that you seek care at an emergency facility. Our schedule is often booked with only one veterinarian on staff and presenting to us with an emergency can cause needless delays in evaluations, stabilization and treatment for your pet.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

The weather this week is going to be incredibly hot and humid. Please keep your pet(s) indoors where there is air conditioning. Heatstroke can occur rather quickly and can often be fatal if not medically treated. If you suspect your pet(s) are showing signs of heat stroke immediately get them in front of a fan indoors and keep their paws wet with cool water. DO NOT SPRAY THEM WITH THE HOSE. (This can cause more severe internal issues).
While you're actively cooling your pet please contact a veterinary emergency clinic for any additional information.
